Patch Pet: Monty

Come meet this one-time shy fellow who is now a Prince Charming.

Monty is a handsome domestic, with medium length hair, a black coat, with luminous golden eyes. He was found as a stray, and the vet estimates him to be about ten months old.

Monty was a little shy with the other cats in the cat community room at first, watching carefully from his cat tree. Now he is out and about and very friendly with everyone. This young man loves people and purrs at first touch.  He pours on the charm and is very affectionate and loving. Being so young, he still has the playfulness of a kitten without the excess energy.

Monty takes his role as taste tester of treats very seriously, so you'll need to come prepared.  If you are looking for a handsome prince charming, Monty may be the boy for you.

Monty and other pets are available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility, 1395 1st St. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.-4 p.m., everyday but major holidays.

To see and read about other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com.

All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption. PAWS of Coronado would like to announce our new program, Feline Baby Boomers/Senior to Senior Adoption. Cats of 10-plus years adopted to parents 55 and over get a reduced fee of $35 for the first cat, $15 for the second.
