Patch Pet: Cassie

The Pit Bull Terrier puppy is happy with other animals and would make a good sleep companion.

Cassie is a female, of Pit Bull Terrier variety, about 25 pounds in size, who was born in April. She’s still young and filled with that playfulness that makes puppies special.

She’s been lucky enough to live with a foster family since she came to the Coronado Animal Care Facility, as a stray about 8-10 weeks old.

Cassie enjoyed the company of the resident Great Dane and two cats who live in the foster family’s home.

This little girl is a snuggle bunny, so if you like the idea of having a dog who will curl up to you while you sleep, she’s your girl. She’s got that upbeat personality, one that brings people together on her walks. Everybody wants to meet her and share in her enthusiasm for life.

Cassie and other pets are available for adoption at the , 1395 1st St. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.-4 p.m., everyday but major holidays.
