The USS Midway Museum will host a viewing party for the Opening Ceremony for the 2012 Olympic Games in London Friday.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the ceremony set to begin airing at 7 p.m. Entry is free.
Food in the British tradition – bangers and mash, fish & chips – will be available for purchase.

An opportunity to meet the 2012 BMX Olympic Team before they leave for London • Photos with a real Olympic torch and chances to meet Olympians and Paralympians • Archery demos from Chula Vista Olympic Training Center resident athletes • A juggling contest with members of the 2012 Paralympic Soccer Team.
