Coronado Properties Sell for $3.3 Million to Colorado Foundation

The TyL Foundation of Littleton, Col., purchased offices at 10th Street and C Avenue.

A Colorado non-profit has purchased buildings in Coronado on 10th Street and C Street for $3.3 million, according to a real estate information firm.

The Lee Mather Company represented the private former property holder, the report said, while Prudential California represented the TyL Foundation, of Littleton, Col., according to costar.com.

The offices, at 970 C Avenue and 1123 10th Street, contain more than 5,800 square feet, the report said.

The foundation, according to a 2007 list compiled by the Foundation Center, was listed among the top supporters of elementary and secondary education.

The organization issued a $10 million grant that year and ranked 24th in the nation.

Guidestar.org, which monitors foundations and charitable organizations, lists the TyL Foundation's income at $22.1 million. 

In the foundation's most recent filing with the IRS, for 2010, grants were planned or issued totaling nearly $12 million.

We need to get the word out about this helpful event in Coronado for the future. It was a learning experience for children and adults alike. I feel better now with my daughter riding her bike on the busy streets of Coronado. Thanks again to all of the Police Officers, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and local volunteers.
