Mother's Day is soon. We reminded you last week when we asked you to think about .

But there's another big component of a good Mother's Day, or for that matter, Father's Day or graduation celebration. Yep, friends, the grub. And for these particular May and June holidays, brunch is the ticket.

Where do you take moms, dads and grads for these special buffets or multiple course early meals? Mom's up first and these are your options:

Voting in the Readers Choice poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by the option with the most praise in the comments section. We will announce the winner Friday afternoon.

So tell us your favorite spot when you want to bestow a special meal upon your mom or any other deserving loved one. And don't forget to tell us why in the comments.

If we've skipped anyone who's planning a special brunch, tell us too: We'll add them.

Remember: The poll closes Friday morning.

About this column: It's the Readers Choice of anything and everything Coronado in 2012, based on your votes. This is a great event. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make it a fun and enrichingRead More experience for my family. We need to get the word out about this helpful event in Coronado for the future. It was a learning experience for children and adults alike. I feel better now with my daughter riding her bike on the busy streets of Coronado. Thanks again to all of the Police Officers, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and local volunteers.
