Reminder: Readers Choice – Burrito

When a taco isn't enough, but a big plate is too much, burritos are the best option. Where do you find yours in Coronado?

Update, 6 a.m. Thursday: Clayton's Takeout and Miguel's are battling it out for burrito supremacy. Who will prevail? You decide. Please make your voice heard and vote for Readers Choice!

You've decided Readers Choice for foods, services and shopping so let's keep on shaping Coronado Patch's guide to what you love to do in the community.

Next up: your favorite Burrito.

Sometimes a salad is lovely, but at other times you just want a tortilla stuffed to bursting with your favorite meat, beans, rice, salsa, guacamole, sour cream and hey, even fries.

There's more modest burritos too. They don't all have to be stuffed to the gills. And hey, please nominate specific favorite burritos at these spots. We'd be happy to single the special ones out! Tell us in the comments.

What place in town has your favorite?

Voting in the Readers Choice poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by the option with the most praise in the comments section. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

So tell us your favorite spot when you want something uncomplicated, but spicy and easy to carry. And don't forget to tell us why or which burritos are your faves in the comments. And if we've skipped anyone, tell us too, and we'll add them.

Remember: The poll closes Friday morning.

About this column: It's the Readers Choice of anything and everything Coronado in 2012, based on your votes. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

This is a great event. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make it a fun and enrichingRead More experience for my family. We need to get the word out about this helpful event in Coronado for the future. It was a learning experience for children and adults alike. I feel better now with my daughter riding her bike on the busy streets of Coronado. Thanks again to all of the Police Officers, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and local volunteers.
