A man jumped from the bridge Friday afternoon, leading to a brief closure of lanes. The bridge is now open and clear.
An emergency call came in at 2:47 p.m., according to Coronado police, reporting that a man in the westbound lanes left a truck, rushed toward the center divide and then jumped from the bridge.
The CHP handled the initial call. The Harbor Police recovered the man's body soon after his jump. The case has been referred to the Medical Examiner's Office.
