Navy SEAL, 23, Killed in Kentucky Training Accident That Left 7 Injured

Five other SEALs received minor injuries in the incident, which occurred in Fort Knox.

A Navy SEAL died Wednesday in Fort Knox after a Humvee he was riding in overturned during training, according to USA Today.

Jonathan Kaloust, 23, of Massapequa, NY, was assigned to a Virginia-based SEAL unit, the report said.

He had been with the Navy for two years and was the only service member killed in the accident, which left seven others with minor injuries.

The Navy Times reported that five SEALs were among the others injured, along with an explosive ordnance disposal technician. They were treated and released.

Kaloust was a wrestler in college at the State University of New York, Binghamton, the report said, and received a political science degree.
