San Diego County Fair Sets 2013 Theme: ‘Game On’
The fair will run from June 8 to July 4.

The annual San Diego County Fair will have a theme of “Game On” next year, and run 24 days from June 8 to July 4, the 22nd District Agricultural Association Board of Directors has announced.
The scheduled opening day is a Saturday.

The theme will highlight classic games and how they have evolved, including board games, pinball television and computers.
“Who doesn't like to play games?” fair General Manager Timothy Fennell asked. “Games of all kinds bridge the generation gaps by uniting families to spend quality time together.”

He said games also bring different cultures together.
The 2012 fair set an attendance record for the fourth year in a row, drawing 1,517,508.
