A smattering of runners wore Boston Strong T-shirts in Sunday morning's 27th annual Bay Bridge Run/Walk—recalling the April bombing at the Boston Marathon.

But mostly it was a beautiful, mid-60s journey under mostly cloudy skies—a 4-mile event hosted by the Navy as a fundraiser for its Morale Welfare and Recreation programs.

Ending at Tidelands Park, some 10,000 entrants from toddlers to grandparents were set to make the trek over the iconic span.
