Median Home Prices Are Up 11% in Coronado

The median home price of homes sold in Coronado last month was $1,462,500, some 11 percent more than the price for the same period last year, according to the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors.

The median price of an existing single-family home sold in Coronado was 11.6 percent higher in September than a year ago, the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors reported last week. 

The median price was $1,462,500 compared to $1,310,000 for the same period last year, according to SDAR data. For condos sold in Coronado, the media price dipped to $844,500 from $920,000 in Sept. 2012.

The total number of properties sold in 92118 remained constant last month compared to last year: 26 homes and condos.

In the county, the Realtors' latest report showed that 1,742 homes were sold throughout the county in September. The median price was $486,500. 

The most expensive San Diego County listing sold last month was a 6-bedroom, 8-bath home in La Jolla for $18.5 million.
