Police Blotter: Stolen Vehicle from G Avenue and Other Crimes

Reports released by police Dec. 10.

• Stolen Vehicle: An unknown person(s) stole a white, 4-door 2013 Honda Accord valued at $28,000 from the 700 block of G Avenue between Nov. 12 and Nov. 27.
• Petty Theft: An unknown person(s) stole an unlocked bicycle valued at $199 from the 800 block of A Avenue between Nov. 13 and Nov. 15.
• Petty Theft: An unknown person(s) stole a bicycle valued at $300 from Coronado High School on the 600 block of D Avenue between Nov. 22 and Dec. 2.
• Petty Theft: An unknown person(s) stole an unlocked bicycle valued at $150 from the porch of a home on the 300 block of J Avenue between Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.
• Burglary: An unknown person(s) entered a locked garage on the 200 block of Orange Avenue and stole a locked bicycle valued at $150 between Nov. 26 and Nov. 27.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect stole a locked bicycle valued at $120 from the 100 block of Orange Avenue between Nov. 26 and Nov. 28.
• Petty Theft: An unknown person(s) stole a wallet valued at $75 and containing $300 in cash and $125 in gift cards from the 900 block of Orange Avenue between 9 and 11 a.m. on Nov. 27.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole an unlocked bicycle valued at $230 from the front porch of a residence on the 300 block of Orange Avenue between Nov. 27 and Dec. 2.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a package from the front porch of a residence on the 1400 block of Second Avenue between Nov. 29 and Nov. 30. The contents were valued at $60.
• Petty Theft: An unknown person(s) stole two unlocked bicycles valued at $300 each from the 1600 block of Pomona Avenue between 3 a.m. and 2 p.m., Nov. 30. The bikes were later found in the 900 block of Pomona Avenue.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle valued at $100 from the side yard of a residence on the 400 block of Palm Avenue at 11 a.m., Nov. 30.
• Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: An unknown suspect(s) vandalized the west side of the boulders along the 400 block of Ocean Boulevard with black and white spray paint. 
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a locked bicycle valued at $600 from the 800 block of Orange Avenue on Dec. 1.
• Petty Theft: An unknown person(s) stole an air compressor valued at $88 and a speaker valued at $80 from the 200 block of C Avenue at 11 a.m., Dec. 2.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole an iPad Mini valued at $600 from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 600 block of 10th Street between Dec. 2 and Dec. 3.
• Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: A person damaged the cell phone of another by throwing it on the ground. This incident took place on the 800 block of G Avenue between 7:34 and 7:58 a.m. on Dec. 3.
• Criminal Threats: An unknown person called the Hotel Del Coronado on the 1500 block of Orange Avenue on Dec. 3 and threatened to detonate a bomb if he did not receive $5,000. (Read more here.)
• Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: An unknown person etched lettering into a mirror in a bathroom at City Hall on the 1800 block of Strand Way on Dec. 4.
• Petty Theft: An unknown person(s) stole a locked bicycle valued at $350 from the 1300 block of Orange Avenue between 5 and 11 p.m., Dec. 6.
• Petty Theft: An unknown person(s) stole a locked bicycle valued at $200 from the 1100 block of Orange Avenue between Dec. 7 and Dec. 8.
