3 Loaded Guns, Rifle Stolen from Coronado Home

Three guns, one rifle and cash were stolen from a home on the 200 block of A Avenue earlier this month.

Four weapons were stolen from a home on the 200 block of A Avenue, according to Coronado Police.

Police said an unknown suspect(s) broke into the residence and stole four guns and $2,200 in cash from a safe. The incident occurred between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Oct. 9.

The weapons were described by police as:

  • Ruger 357 Magnum with a 6-inch barrel, loaded with six rounds, worth $650.
  • Springfield XD 45, two magazines with 10 rounds, five in barrel worth $650.
  • Beretta PX4 Storm 9 mm, 2 magazines with 10 rounds and four in barrel, worth $600.
  • Smith & Wesson AR15 rifle with three 10-round magazines in nylon case, worth $1,500.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Coronado Police said the registered weapons had not been recovered. The total loss was estimated at $5,600.
