In a "grand return to the public stage," the U.S. Navy Parachute Team The Leap Frogs will return to the sky Monday at a Monday Night Football game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins, The Leap Frogs announced on Twitter and Facebook Thursday.

With the exception of training jumps, Leap Frogs had been grounded since April due to sequestration.

The Monday Night Football jump will be the first official public appearance of the acrobatic all-volunteer team that trains in San Diego and is made up of Naval Special Warfare, Navy SEALs and Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen.

A 1,500-square-foot American flag will make one of its first official public appearance at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.
