Service line water pipes burst in two separate parts of Coronado Thursday.
The two breaks, which took place in the 800 block of H Avenue and in an alley in the 200 block between A and B streets, were announced by the city of Coronado around 5 p.m.
Roughly 15-20 customers near the A and B streets break lost water as a result, said Brian Barreto with Cal-Am Water. Customers on H Street were not impacted.
Crews were on the scene between A and B streets shortly before 6 p.m. Repairs to both lines should be completed Thursday, he said.
The cause of the breaks is not yet known.
"It depends on the age of the pipes or the soil or it could be a number of different things," Barreto said.
