Coronado Fall/Winter Recreation Catalogue Now Available

Registration for fall/winter Coronado Recreation Services activities starts Aug. 20. Registration opens to people outside Coronado Aug. 27.

The city of Coronado Recreation Services released its fall/winter catalogue Thursday.

The catalogue details all recreation services offerings, particularly at the Coronado Community Center and Coronado Club Room and Boathouse, from September through January.

Some available classes include:

  • Swimming, water polo and diving lessons and regularly held paddle outs.
  • Gymnastics, dance and ballet classes.
  • More than a dozen toddler and preschool classes.
  • Learn how to play basketball, skate, surf, rock climb or tae kwon do.
  • Teen activities like the Dos Picos haunted trail hike or become an American Red Cross certified babysitter.
  • Serenity yoga, gym, aerobics, surf lessons and more for adults and seniors.
Registration for classes, lessons and activities at the recreation center or boathouse begins Aug. 20. Nonresidents may enroll in activities starting Aug. 27. Forms can be mailed to the Coronado Community Center or filled out online. People can also call or visit the community center in person.
