Whitney Benzian, Neighbor

Whitney Benzian grew up in Coronado. He has a passion for current events, public policy and all things that involve human connection and communication. The San Diego News Network named him a “35 Under 35″ local leader in 2010. The Water Education Foundation selected him to their 2010 California Water Leaders Program. While in college he co-founded and managed a radio station where hosted a political/current events talk show. He also had a radio show in graduate school that focused on contemporary political issues.<br>  <br> Once back in Coronado, Benzian reformed the Coronado Active 20-30 Club, a civic service club for young adults. He recently jumped off the board of the Coronado Historical Association where he served as President for 3 of his 4 years. In that role, he also sat on the city committee that helped set up the Coronado Tourism Improvement District.<br>  <br> Benzian is married to Morgan Benzian and has two little girls, Emma and Annie. He loves to play tennis, basketball, bike ride and walk Orange Avenue with his family.
