Picnic tables are scattered throughout the area, and benches along the paved walkway offer parents a place to sit while they watch their children play.

­­The Coronado Cays Fire Station is located nearby, right across the street from the parking lot. ­­Dogs are allowed in the designated area at the south end of the park, and there are public restrooms on site.

The Coronado Cays Fire Station is located on the corner of Coronado Cays Boulevard and Grand Caribe Causeway,More adjacent to Coronado Cays Park. It primarily serves the Cays residential area and answers calls along the highly trafficked Silver Strand Highway. This station is home to the city's biggest fire truck. This ladder truck is so big the department had to expand the garage, just so it could fit inside!

This station also offers on-site emergency services, including paramedic services. The main fire station and department headquarters are located at 1001 Sixth Street, at D Avenue.  


Tent City Restaurant

Reminiscent of a laidback restaurant from the early 1900s, Tent City Restaurant specializes in California eclecticMore cuisine. Located on the corner of Orange Avenue and Park Avenue in downtown Coronado, Tent City has a bar as well as indoor and outdoor seating. Thanks to its relationship to sister establishment Coronado Brewing Company, Tent City also features Coronado beers on tap.

Catering and take-out are available, and Tent City is one of the only restaurants on the island that serves breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served up with large portion sizes in a casual atmosphere, and visitors can shop in the nearby Coronado Historical Society gift shop. 

Glorietta Bay Park

Glorietta Bay Park is located between the Coronado Community Center and the Naval Amphibious Base. It includes a smallMore beach along Glorietta Bay, where people can swim and watch the passing boats. The park offers spectacular views of the San Diego–Coronado Bay Bridge and the Coronado Golf Course. It has a large playground and grass area with palm trees surrounded by flowerbeds. There are picnic tables and public restrooms. Charming benches line the little pathway in front of the seawall, which is a great spot to read a book or enjoy a sack lunch—or both. The park also has a launching facility, where people can launch their boats and park their trailers free of charge.
