This spacious and open gallery, owned by Tom Strong, was established on the stunning Coronado Ferry LandingMore in 1994. Strong has another gallery on Coronado in the Loew's resort, but this is the main venue. The natural surroundings to the building are fitting given the theme of the gallery's art. Housing work from more than 100 different artists, the collection is firmly rooted in themes of nature.

Anyone can enter and enjoy the art, which includes vibrant paintings of jungle cats, stingrays sculpted in bronze, and various other original creations. If you're in the market, the pieces are for sale and marked as such. For shop hoppers who may have grabbed a snack, make sure to ditch any food or drink before entering. 

Shorelines Gallery

Shorelines Gallery is family owned and carries contemporary American artisan crafts from more than 120 artists. TheMore gallery houses an assortment of jewelry, glass art, metal and bronze pieces, wood and furniture items, prints, wall art and more. It is owned by Tomi and Sara Mueller, who select the pieces to be displayed and one of the two will always be in the gallery on any given day.

Originally founded in 1988 by Steve Addi and Stephen Clayton Hager, this Coronado-based gallery offers high quality artMore work complemented by a knowledgeable staff of consultants. The floor has a range of offerings and showcases artists like Mackenzie Thorpe, Daniel Gerhartz, Nelson De La Nuez, Michael Parkes and Steven Johnston. Florals, landscapes, pop art and a great range of Dr. Seuss pieces fill the gallery. Trunk shows of a particular artist's creations are put on periodically. Work is for sale, and the gallery does art finding if something can not be found at this location. Shipping is also available. Another highlight is the on-site custom framer, whom gallery employee Miki describes as a valuable "Coronado secret." The staff can help add the finishing touches to any purchase and even offer consulting services on how and where to place a work of art.
