Operating under the umbrella of the Coronado Unified School District (CUSD), this facility offers before- andMore after-school child care options to children in grades K-6 within the district. Described as an after-school enrichment program, the center offers a variety of age-appropriate activities such as outdoor sports, music and study time. There is no formal academic curriculum, but assistance with homework is available. Staff members are experienced child care professionals.

While the center itself is located on 6th Street, the location of care may be on-site at the child's elementary school. Parents who have multiple children in school with different release times may want to check out the sibling program, which offers supervision while children wait for a ride home. To enroll a student, parents will complete and submit registration materials including an emergency information form and consent for medical treatment. This state-funded public preschool and kindergarten is part of the Coronado Unified School District. Accepting preschoolMore students aged 3 to 4 years old and kindergarten students based on age and readiness, the facility works in cooperation with the San Diego County Centralized Eligibility List (CEL) to offer subsidized child care to those families who qualify for funding.  Preschool enrollment priority is given to children of families who meet these eligibility criteria. The grounds are safe and enclosed and have a playground as well as classroom facilities. Programs and activities are scheduled Monday through Friday, with times varying for the different age groups.
