Thanks to its relationship to sister establishment Coronado Brewing Company, Tent City also features Coronado beers on tap.

Catering and take-out are available, and Tent City is one of the only restaurants on the island that serves breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served up with large portion sizes in a casual atmosphere, and visitors can shop in the nearby Coronado Historical Society gift shop.

With a "fiery hot" theme throughout, Coronado Firehouse restaurant and bar recently opened in summer 2010. FirehouseMore standards like poles, flashing lights and even a Dalmatian or two (albeit in statue form) decorate the bistro. The menu also offers "fire"- inspired fare like the restaurant's 5-Alarm Firehouse Chili and its appropriately named, firehouse-inspired "Station" burgers, like The Chief, The Captain, The Hoseman, The EMT and The Hook 'N' Ladder. Delicious pizzas are served here as well, with a few honoring Coronado. Beer is on tap, and indoor, outdoor and bar seating is available.

The landmark restaurant has been in businessMore since the '80s. Owner Marty Jensen has lived in Coronado since 1975 and is very fond of the area. The atmosphere of the establishment is intimate and family friendly, and the seafood and steak are well worth the visit. Drink specials are available during happy hour every day but Saturday, from 5pm - 6:30pm. 

Interesting fact: The original boathouse was built in 1887, the year before the Hotel Del was constructed. It was used as a model and training site, where construction workers, electricians and plumbers could hone their skills before starting on the hotel. Hence the reason the two structures appear so similar in style.
