The Coronado Chamber of Commerce has been serving the needs of local business owners since 1937. Over the years itMore has helped the community thrive by advocating for better public policies and business legislation. Today the Chamber consists of nearly 400 members, who are all leading citizens in the community. The Chamber creates opportunities for business owners to network, gain referrals, promote their businesses and get involved with their city. Some of the Chamber's events and resources include: the President's breakfast with community speakers, Sundowners (business networking), political forums, meetings with professional business counselors, as well as a bi-monthly newsletter and e-mail updates.</p> <p>The Chamber also sponsors time-honored traditions, such as summer concerts in the park, the Salute to the Military Ball and Harry T. Jenkins Award, the Coronado Christmas Parade, Tree Lighting and Merchant Open House, as well as the Coronado High School Business Scholarship and the Chamber Golf Tournament.   </p>

Rotary Club of Coronado

The Rotary Club of Coronado has been serving the community through its humanitarian efforts since 1926. As part of theMore worldwide Rotary organization, the club's motto is, "Service above self." It achieves this through a variety of activities, from feeding the homeless to promoting literacy. The local chapter has enhanced the community by building sites like Rotary Park, home of the beloved Coronado Christmas tree, and by sponsoring events like the Low Tide Ride & Stride, a beach bike/run that benefits active duty service members and veterans of the U.S. Military. The original club of 22 members has grown into more than 230 Rotarians – all leading citizens within the community. They meet every Wednesday at noon in the famed Hotel Del Coronado, a club tradition since 1927. Membership is by invitation only and members of other rotary clubs are welcome to stop by the weekly meetings at the Del.
The Screen Machine

The Screen Machine is a local decorator and screen door provider in the Coronado area. Its Tiger Wire screen doors keepMore bugs out while allowing air to get in, creating natural ventilation for the home. It installs pet doors as well as drop shades and window awnings. During the winter months, Screen Machine also acts as a Christmas Decor installation location, offering full Christmas lighting for the home. Rotary Park

This small 700 square-foot park was originally created to preserve an 80-year-old Norfolk pine that serves as the city'sMore official Christmas tree. It's also a relaxing spot with a water fountain and benches. The park is located at the corner of Orange and Park avenues and ranks among the smallest in the state.

With many items created by local artists and artisans, the boutique has become a destination store for some regular visitors to the area due to their "ornament tree," a small tree shaped piece that holds many hangable objects for eventual Christmas use. Specialty items for the yard or garden like birdhouses and pretty tools can be found here, as can a large selection of cat memorabilia.</p> <p>Switch Flops by Lindsay Phillips can be purchased here, which are special flip-flops where you can alternate the straps based on your mood. Hand-sewn purses and bags are for sale as well, and a large assortment of Coronado gifts and souvenirs are available for purchase.</p>
