Following the legend that New York pizza is best because of its water, Village Pizzeria only uses water shipped from the Excelsior State and claims it has the pizza to back up its act. Its patio and indoor seating lets patrons enjoy big portions of delicious pasta, salad and desserts, but nothing quite compares to the pizza. For large groups, Village Pizzeria offers a 28-inch pie that feeds up to ten. The base of the pizza can be fresh homemade tomato or garlic and olive oil (red versus white… how to decide?). The calzones and hoagies, also delicious, can be washed down with beer or wine.
