Coronado Unified School District To Host Budget Study Workshop
The budget study meeting will be held Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Coronado High School's Multipurpose Room.
The school year just started, but the Coronado Unified School District has already started work on next year's budget. The district will host a Budget Study Meeting on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Coronado High School's Multipurpose Room.
The district stated that the 2013-14 school year will be a critical one for school finance in Coronado and throughout California.
"It is important that our Board, staff and community are fully informed about the new state funding model (Local Control Funding Formula, or LCFF)," the CUSD said on it's website. "We need your input and look forward to working with you to reach the best possible budget solutions for our students and the health of the district."
