The Loews Coronado Bay Surf Dog Competition will be held June 22 north of the Imperial Beach Pier.

Registration starts Monday for the 2013 Loews Coronado Bay Surf Dog Competition.

The surf series, now in its eighth year, will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 22. The competition has been moved from Dunes Park slightly south to near the north side of the Imperial Beach Pier.

At last year's competition three world records were set including the most dogs riding a surfboard at one time.
