Visit Chula Vista's Salt Creek Golf Course on July 13 and hit the links for a good cause.
The proceeds from the golft tournament will not only benefit the La Mesa Police Officers Association but also the La Mesa National Little League and the La Mesa Peer Support.
Entry fee includes golf, lunch and dinner. In addition to the golf, there will be a helicopter ball drop where all the golf balls that are sold are placed in a helicopter and then dropped onto a green. The three closest balls to cup will win a cash prize up to $2,000. Golf balls can be purchased for $10 each, $50 for six balls, or $100 for thirteen balls.
A goal of the La Mesa Police Officers Association this year is to expand the annual “Christmas Family Adoption” program.
