Bike The Bay supports the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition, an advocacy group that seeks to improve bicycling for San Diegans. This event welcomes rides of all abilities, with space for individuals, families, corporate teams and those who just want to experience a scenic bayside ride and take advantage of the only opportunity of the year to ride the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge.
The 25-mile route passes through San Diego, over the bridge into Coronado, down the Strand to Imperial Beach, then to Chula Vista and National City before finishing at Embarcadero Mariana Park South with a celebration with food, entertainment and a New Belgium beer garden.
Entry: Coalition members pay $50, while individual cyclists pay $55; tandem riders pay $96 and teams, $100.
