Coronado Mayor Casey Tanaka and the City Council are expected to participate in the official ribbon cutting to welcome residents to Coronado’s newest recreation spot.
The event will include an art dedication of “Sea Level,” by copper sculptor Kim Ogburn. The piece was part of the Unified Port District of San Diego’s Urban Trees 7 program and portrays a kelp forest.
