Coronado SAFE will host the workshop at the Coronado Community Center today, Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Coronado SAFE will host “Operation Safe Heart: The Real Science and Simple Truth Behind Successful Families” with Cheri Bollmann from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the Coronado Community Center.

Bollmann, married to a retired Navy SEAL, is the mother of 11 grown children—four biological and seven adopted. She is a professional life coach, a public speaker and educator. She is also a certified instructor in love & logic, along with beyond consequences parenting techniques and is trained in crucial conversations by Vital Smarts. She's been a guest on Good Morning America and Oprah.

Guests are welcome to bring along their children for an evening of fun and games. Children (kindergarten through fifth grade) will be supervised by the Coronado Recreation Department  from 6 to 8 p.m. The suggested donation is $10 for one child and $5 for each additional child. The donation goes to support the Coronado Recreation Department Scholarship Fund.
