Video: Coronado Students Bring ‘Gangnam Style‘ to Ferry Landing

A Coronado Middle School PE class takes a shot at the pop hit and locals are there to capture the fun.

“Gangnam Style” still packs a punch.

This time, the physical education students in Bonnie McCann's Coronado Middle School class got in on the trend, dropping by the Ferry Landing for a “flash mob” performance of the PSY hit that has legs.

It continues to fascinate seven months after its July 2012 release and has 1.3 billion (yes, BILLION) views on YouTube.

Can Coronado challenge that supremacy? Probably not, but the Del Realty Group captured the scene, so you can watch it, even if you weren't there to enjoy the sixth-graders' performance Tuesday.

This is a corrected version. The original story listed the wrong school.

This is a great event. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make it a fun and enrichingRead More experience for my family. We need to get the word out about this helpful event in Coronado for the future. It was a learning experience for children and adults alike. I feel better now with my daughter riding her bike on the busy streets of Coronado. Thanks again to all of the Police Officers, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and local volunteers.
