The San Diego Advertising Club features `The One Show’ winners at Nov. 29 luncheon

The San Diego Advertising Club will present “The Top Creative Trends in Advertising,” a luncheon program featuring winning entries from the most recent The One Show, an international advertising awards competition, from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Phil's BBQ Event Center, 3750 Sports Arena Blvd., San Diego. The public is invited to attend. The One Show’s winners represent the best creative advertising work in print, radio, television, design, interactive and new media categories from around the world, according to San Diego Ad Club officials.

Speaking at the Ad Club event will be Kevin Swanepoel, president of The One Club for Art & Copy, the New York City-based organization that produces The One Show. Swanepoel held the position of chief creative officer at two advertising agencies, as well as being the founder of Creative & Strategic Advertising, before becoming president of The One Club in 2006. He has appeared on FOX, NBC and CBS as an authority on current advertising trends, and has been published in a number of trade journals, including AdWeek, Advertising Age, Creativity, AdHoc, Advertising and Design, Campaign Brief and Propaganda and Marketing.

Cost to attend the luncheon is $45 per person for Ad Club members, $55 per person for non-members and $35 per person for students.
