Reminder: Readers Choice – Sporting Goods

Where do you go when you need something new for oudoor play, from bicycles and clubs to racquets and surfboards?

You've decided Readers Choice for ,  and  so it's time to turn to shopping as we shape Coronado Patch's guide to what you love to do in the community.

Next up: Sporting goods.

Coronado is a great place for fitness, from those who love to make their ways around town via peddling to those who prefer taking to a board to surf.

There's no big all-you-can-buy mart for sports though. Instead there's a series of specialty shops for biking, golf, surf and tennis enthusiasts for you to choose from:

Voting in the Readers Choice poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by the option that has the most praise in the comments section. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

So tell us your favorite spot when you're in need of a new board, club, racket or tire. And don't forget to tell us why in the comments. And if we've skipped anyone, tell us too, and we'll add them to the poll.

Remember: The poll closes Friday morning.

About this column: It's the Readers Choice of anything and everything Coronado in 2012, based on your votes. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

This is a great event. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make it a fun and enrichingRead More experience for my family. We need to get the word out about this helpful event in Coronado for the future. It was a learning experience for children and adults alike. I feel better now with my daughter riding her bike on the busy streets of Coronado. Thanks again to all of the Police Officers, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and local volunteers.
