Your Polling Place May Have Changed; Do You Know Where to Vote?

Not sure where to cast your ballot in Coronado and the rest of San Diego County? Patch can help.

Tuesday is the big day – Presidential Primary Election Day with numerous local races, including those for your state Assembly and Senate representatives and Coronado's Congressional seat.

Do you know where to vote this year?

Your unique polling location is listed the Sample Ballot and Voter Information Pamphlet sent to your home or you can find it online.

But if you misplaced it and you need to locate your polling place online – don't worry. It's very simple. All you need to know is your home address.

Visit sdvote.com and type in your address. That same site will show you a sample ballot of the contests and measures you will see on Tuesday's ballot.

Also, remember that polling hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In addition, if you vote by mail, you can drop off your ballot at any polling place in San Diego County or the Registrar of Voters office before 8 p.m. The office is located at 5201 Ruffin Road, Suite I, in Kearny Mesa at the corner of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Ruffin Road.

A postmark is not acceptable. The registrar must receive your ballot by Tuesday.
