International Migratory Bird Day 2011!

Come to this fun and educational-filled event held at the Tijuana Estuary on Saturday, May 14th for International Migratory Bird Day!

Featuring FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman-inspired stations with clues to  the next activity, kids and families of all over can enjoy a day of learning how to bird, and why the Estuary is such an important place for birds.

Learn skills in bird identification, bird calls, bird banding, and practice using binoculars in the field!  The Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge is yours to enjoy on this special day.  Wildlife experts will be there to guide the activities, and help everyone get connected with nature.

Come visit your local National Wildlife Refuge at the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, right in Imperial Beach!

Please wear sunscreen and bring water.  Carpool if possible; parking is limited.
