Coronado's Recreation Department Receives Peer Recognition

Coronado Middle School and its Principal Jay Marquand were awarded a Citation Award from the California Parks and Recreation Society for ongoing support of the City's Recreation Department. The award was given out on Wednesday, March 26, at the annual California Parks and Recreation Society's Awards Banquet.

Coronado Middle School was nominated for the partnership that was created in 2001 between the Recreation Department and the middle school to assure that students participate in safe activities during and after school.
