A new sign has been installed near the entrance to the North Beach fire rings that provides rules specific to fire ring use.

The City's goal with all of its beach signs is to achieve voluntary compliance of the rules and regulations at the beach.

The City’s most recent Public Service Announcement is out and the topic is fire rings.

Coronado wants to keep and protect the Southern California tradition of beach fires but we need the community's help.

Watch the video and help keep Coronado safe and beautiful.

Just what we needed, another sign prohibiting behaviors which will be ignored by the public and unenforced by the City. Just like no bike riding on sidewalks and no smoking in public places. Why don't we put up a sign that prohibits the posting of ignored signs?
