Sentencing is scheduled for Thomas Garrett, the former commodore at the Coronado Yacht Club, on Friday, Jan. 17 at the South Bay Courthouse in Chula Vista.
Garrett, a retired firefighter and resident of Chula Vista, was convicted of molesting a neighbor girl. He was arrested Feb. 3, 2012 on a warrant stemming from accusations made in 2011 by the alleged victim's mother.
His one-year tenure at the Yacht Club ended in 2010.
