School Resource Officer Appointed in Coronado
It is anticipated that Officer Mannello will spend a fair amount of her time on the campus at the middle school.
The Coronado Police Department has appointed Officer Sherri Mannello as its School Resource Officer.
To facilitate training, Officer Mannello will not officially transfer to her new position until the beginning of the next school year, which starts in August.
It is anticipated that Officer Mannello will spend a fair amount of her time on the campus at the middle school; however, she also will be visible on the campuses of the high school and elementary schools.
The School Resource Officer assignment was achieved through redeployment of existing resources and assignments.
