Police Blotter: More Stolen Bank Cards and Silverware

Recent arrests and other criminal activity in Coronado.

Crimes:

Burglary, 2000 block of 6th Street, 9:15 – 9:30 p.m.,  Sept. 29, a computer was stolen from a garage.

Grand theft, 140 Orange Avenue, 3:23 – 3:45 p.m., Sept. 29, a mobile computer was taken from Coronado Glass and Paint.

Battery, 500 block of 8th Street, 4:10 p.m., Oct. 1, a woman kicked her boyfriend in his side during an argument.

Grand theft, 1300 block of Orange Avenue, noon – 4:30 p.m., Oct. 1, more than $8,000 worth of clothing, electronics and luggage was taken from a vehicle in an underground parking garage.

Credit card fraud, 800 block of Balboa Avenue, Sept. 27 – Oct. 1, cash and an ATM card were taken from a wallet and the ATM card was subsequently used to fraudulently withdraw $3,000 from an account ().

Petty theft, 1800 block of Strand Way, 5 – 8:10 p.m., Sept. 29, a wallet and cell phone were taken from an unlocked car.

Burglary, 1800 block of Strand Way, 6 – 7:15 p.m., Sept. 28, a woman’s purse containing documents such as an SDG&E bill and an immunization card was taken from a locked vehicle.

Petty theft, 4000 block of Coronado Bay Road, 1:30 – 2 a.m., Sept. 18, a cell phone was stolen while the owner was distracted.

Burglary, 9000 block of Balboa Avenue, 8:15 a.m. – 2 p.m., Sept. 26, a $3,000 Strasbourg silverware set was taken from a private residence ().

Burglary, 8300 block of Balboa Avenue, noon – 10 p.m., Sept. 22 – 25, a credit card was stolen and used to make a $42.54 purchase.           

Stolen bicycle, 10th Street and Orange Avenue, 11:22 a.m., Sept. 30, a black American Flag Skinny B bicycle was taken from outside of Panera.

Stolen bicycle, 900 block of E Avenue, 3:39 p.m., Sept. 30, black Phat Sea Wind.

Stolen bicycle, 640 Orange Avenue, 12:28 p.m., Oct. 1, dark blue Huffy was taken from outside the library.

Stolen bicycle, Little Club, 10:41 a.m., Sept. 29, black Bruiser Firmstrong.

Stolen bicycle, 4000 block of Orange Avenue, 11:07 a.m., Sept. 23, vanilla Firmstrong Bella.

Stolen bicycle, 500 block of G Avenue, 10:45 a.m., Sept. 24, black bike with red rims was taken from a patio where it was locked.

 

Arrests:

Male, 60, disorderly conduct, 640 Orange Avenue, 3:01 p.m., Sept. 29.

Female, 23, kidnapping and battery, Coronado Cays Boulevard, 11:04 a.m., Sept. 28.

Male, 23, outside warrant, 630 Balboa Avenue, 8:24 p.m., Sept. 26.

Female, 23, DUI, 1100 10th Street, 5:19 p.m., Sept. 25.

Female, 38, petty theft, McCain Boulevard, 12:16 p.m., Sept. 27.

 

Traffic Collisions:

Dodge Dakota, Chevrolet Malibu and BMW were all involved in a three-car pile-up, 3000 Silver Strand Highway, 10:35 p.m., Sept. 15.

Gray Toyota Camary hit a bicyclist, 1000 3rd Street, 3:19 p.m., Sept. 16.
