Arrests

  • DUI: 29-year-old San Diego woman was arrested on the 500 block of Orange Avenue, 6:36 p.m. Aug. 31. She was on probation for DUI, according to police records.
  • Disorderly conduct - alcohol: 50-year-old transient women was arrested on the 800 block of Orange Avenue, 11:19 a.m., Aug. 31.
  • Disorderly conduct - alcohol: 21-year-old Bradenton, Fla. man was arrested on the 100 block of C Street, 9:45 p.m., Sept. 1.
  • DUI: 29-year-old Coronado man was arrested on the 300 block of Pomona Avenue, 3:10 a.m., Sept. 1.
  • Disorderly conduct - drugs: 22-year-old Arcata man arrested on the 200 block of Prospect Place, 6:22 a.m., Sept. 3.
  • Received known stolen property - felony: 18-year-old Chula Vista man arrested on the 4000 block of Coronado Bay Road, 12:04 a.m., Sept. 3.
  • Disorderly conduct - alcohol: 31-year-old Boston man was arrested on the 100 block of Alameda Boulevard, 4:12 a.m., Sept. 6.

  • Fraudulent Use of Account: 1000 block of Park Place, Aug 11 to Aug. 13, unknown suspect purchased furniture on victim's credit card.
  • Burglary: 100 block of F Avenue, Aug. 14 to Sept. 1, digital camera worth $280 removed from locked vehicle.
  • Petty theft: 200 block of Prospect Place, 7 to 7:45 p.m. Aug. 22, laptop and bag worth $320.
  • Burglary: 200 block of D Avenue, Aug. 27 to Aug. 28, camera worth $400, drill kit worth $100 and $1,800 in cash removed from locked vehicle.
  • Grand theft: 1500 block of Orange Avenue, 10:30 to 10:40 a.m., Aug. 28, diamond ring worth $2,600 removed from hotel lobby bathroom sink.
  • Burglary: 300 block of I Avenue, Aug. 30 to Aug. 31, book-bag removed from vehicle, contents worth $240.
  • Grand theft: 100 block of G Avenue, Aug. 30 to Aug. 31, golf clubs worth $1,500 and wallet worth $20.
  • Burglary: 500 block of I Avenue, 5:15 to 5:20 a.m., Aug. 31, passenger window broken in car, nothing believed to be removed.
  • Petty theft: 1500 block of Orange Avenue, 1 to 3:25 p.m., Aug. 31, bicycle worth $120. 
  • Grand theft: 900 block of Ocean Avenue, 2 to 6 p.m., Sept. 1, backpack containing a camera worth $119, cell phone worth $100 and diamond wedding ring worth $1,100 removed by unknown suspect at beach. 
  • Grand theft: 200 block of Palm Avenue, 10:20 to 10:30 a.m., Sept. 1, computer worth $1,500 and cell phone worth $300 removed from unlocked pickup truck.
  • Petty theft: 300 block of Orange Avenue, 3 to 3:30 p.m., Sept. 2, bicycle worth $250.
  • Petty theft: 1500 Orange Avenue, 2:30 a.m., Sept. 2. Illinois women left purse unattended at table outside bar for 5 minutes. When returned missing. Total loss $295.
  • Petty theft: 800 block of Orange Avenue, 11:05 a.m., Sept. 3., Patron liquor worth $110.
  • Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: 700 block of G Avenue, Sept. 3 to Sept. 4, unknown suspect poured unknown liquid on hood of vehicle.
  • Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: 1900 block of Strand Way, Sept. 4, unknown suspect vandalized two walls in men's bathroom at Glorietta Bay Park.
  • Burglary: 800 block of A Avenue, 9:50 to 11:15 a.m., Sept. 5. An unknown suspect took a Rolex watch worth $5,000, a Rado watch worth $650 and $500 in cash from a residence.

  • 3rd Street and B Avenue, 3:15 p.m., Aug. 25. 2012 Volvo broadsided bicyclist, who was transported to hospital.
  • 600 block of Orange Avenue, 2:48 p.m., Aug. 26, involving three vehicles.
  • 3rd Street west of Orange Avenue, 9:15 a.m., Aug. 27.
  • Orange Avenue at Loma Avenue, 4:25 p.m., Aug. 28, 2013 Toyota Avalon vs. 1997 Yahama.
  • Orange Avenue near 6th Street, 6 p.m. Aug. 31, involving three vehicles.
  • Silver Strange Boulevard, 8:30 a.m., Sept. 1, 50-year-old bicyclist rear-ended, transported to hospital.
  • B Avenue at 3rd Street, 2:15 p.m., Sept. 2. A 23-year-old transported to hospital for leg pain and bleeding from nose and mouth.
  • 1200 block of First Street, 12:45 p.m., Sept. 3. 2012 BMV sideswiped parked vehicle.
