Crimes

• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole an unlocked bicycle valued at $500 from the side yard of a residence on the 500 block of Seventh Street between Nov. 25 and Dec. 2.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a locked bicycle valued at $160 from the 300 block of Orange Avenue between Nov. 28-29.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole two locked bicycles valued at $200 and $250 from the 800 block of Fifth Street on Dec. 5 at 1 p.m.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a locked bicycle valued at $330 from a rack at the Coronado Community Center on the 1800 block of Strand Way between Dec. 6-8.
• Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: An unknown suspect(s) pried open two coin-operated washing machines on the 200 block of D Avenue between Dec. 8-15 and stole the coins. The damage was estimated at $150 per machine and the estimate loss in coins was $100 from each machine.
• Burglary: An unknown suspect(s) vandalized two coin-operated washing machines on the 1600 Pomona Avenue between Dec. 10-11. The exact loss is unknown.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a locked bicycle valued at $159.99 on the 1500 block of First Street between 4 and 9:45 p.m., Dec. 13.
• Vandalism: An unknown suspect(s) pried open the electronic swipe payment section of a gas pump at the 76 Station on the 900 block of Orange Avenue between Dec. 13-14 causing damage and breaking the system.
• Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: An unknown suspect(s) pried open the coin boxes on two washing machines on the 1000 block of A Avenue between Dec. 13-17. The damage was estimated at $150 per machine and an estimated $100 was stolen from each machine.
• Burglary: An unknown male stole two Lego sets valued at $230 from Fuzziwig's Candy Factory on the 1100 block of Orange Avenue at 11:45 a.m., Dec. 15. The suspect later dropped the merchandize, which was returned to the retailer.
• Arson: An unknown suspect(s) burnt a one gallon plastic water bottle containing paper towels on the 1000 block of A Avenue between Dec. 15-17.
• Stolen Vehicle: An unknown person stole a 2011 Jeep Wrangler from the 1500 block of First Avenue between Dec. 16-17.
• Burglary: An unknown suspect(s) entered a residence on the 500 block of Orange Avenue between Dec. 16-17 and stole a folder containing personal information, a pile of shredded paper and a woman's belt valued at $100.
• Petty Theft: A visitor left a cell phone valued at $605 at the Hotel Del Coronado on the 1500 block of Orange Avenue on Dec. 17. When they returned it was missing.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a locked bicycle and accessories from a rack on the 1100 block of 10th Street on Dec. 17. The total loss was valued at $950.94.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) removed $700 in cash from the victim's pants as she slept in the 200 block of Prospect Place between Dec. 17-18.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a locked bicycle valued at $310 from the 1100 block of Orange Avenue between Dec. 17-18.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a locked bicycle valued at $70 on the 500 block of Orange Avenue between Dec. 17-19.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole an unattended pair of shoes valued at $658 from a public area on the 1500 block of First Street between 5:50 and 5:51 p.m., Dec. 18.
• Petty Theft: An unknown suspect attempted to steal a locked bicycle from the rack in the Walgreen's parking lot on the 900 block of Orange Avenue at 5:54 p.m., Dec. 19. The suspect was confronted and fled.

• Petty Theft, Possession of Marijuana: A 47-year-old Spring Valley man was arrested at 5:14 p.m., Dec. 11 on the 1000 block of Orange Avenue.
• Violation of Probation, Resist/Delay/Obstruct Police: A 32-year-old El Cajon man was arrested at 11:15 a.m., Dec. 12 on the 300 block of Cedar Street in El Cajon.
• Forgery: A 62-year-old San Diego man was arrested at 4:31 p.m., Dec. 13 on the 900 block of Margarita Avenue.
• DUI Alcohol and/or Drugs, Driving with Suspended License: 53-year-old San Diego man was arrested at 1:15 p.m, Dec. 14 on the 800 block of Orange Avenue.
