Track the latest criminal activity in Coronado

The reported the following arrests, traffic collisions and crimes as of April 12. If you see a crime, please report it to the police.

Arrests:

  • Curfew violation, San Diego male, 17, 2000 block of Mullinix Drive, April 5.
  • Obstruction of a police officer, San Diego man, 18, 2000 Mullinix Drive, April 5.
  • Petty theft, San Diego woman, 36, McCain Boulevard, April 4.
  • Disorderly conduct, transient, 31, Fifth Street and Palm Avenue, April 5.
  • Theft of an unlocked bicycle, San Ysidro man, 26, in front of the Night and Day Café, April 6.
  • DUI, Coronado man, 27, Chula Vista, April 8.
  • Possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, El Cajon man, 26, 300 block of A Avenue, April 6.

Traffic Collisions:

  • Two-car collision, 1300 block of First Street, one injury (a fractured right ankle and laceration to lower lip). No other information on drivers was given.

Crimes:

  • Stolen 1965 Ford Galaxy, 400 block of Palm Avenue, April 11.
  • Stolen Schwinn coaster bicycle, 500 block of D Avenue, March 30.
  • Car break-in, 900 block of Ocean Boulevard, April 10. Stolen items included two cameras, a make-up bag, three purses, a wallet, credit cards, and $80 cash.
  • Stolen Del Pasado bicycle, Coronado High School, April 11. Bike was locked to the handrail of a staircase on campus.
  • Stolen unlocked Electra Hawaii Cruiser bicycle, Night and Day Café, April 6.
  • Stolen purse, Coronado Cays Yacht Club, April 2.
  • Check fraud against a 54-year-old Coronado woman, April 6.
  • House break-in, 1500 block of First Street, April 4. A necklace and bracelet were stolen.
  • Obscene and threatening phone calls, Grand Caribe Causeway, April 4. 
  • Stolen wallet, Sol Tan Salon on Isabella Avenue. The wallet contained credit cards and $200 cash.
  • Battery, 400 block of B Avenue, April 6.
