More than 1,100 DUI Arrests Statewide Through Sunday
The CHP also reported that 15 people have been killed in crashes during the Memorial Day weekend.
The California Highway Patrol reports that there were 55 DUI arrests in San Diego County between 6:01 p.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. Sunday.
No fatalities were reported in San Diego during that period.
The California Highway Patrol reported 15 road deaths in California during the same period, along with 1133 DUI arrests.
In Los Angeles County, 529 people were arrested for driving under the influence of a substance between 12:01 a.m. on Friday and midnight Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department; 35 DUI arrests were reported in Orange County, according to the CHP.
