Mirrors Knocked Off 3 Cars in Coronado; Police Suspect Incidents Related

An unknown suspect(s) broken the side mirrors off of parked cars between Sept. 30 and Oct. 2 in Coronado, according to police reports.

Coronado residents reported three incidents of vandalism where mirrors were knocked off of parked vehicles in a three-day period earlier this month.

A mirror was broken off a parked vehicle on the 200 block of Alameda Boulevard between Sept. 30 and Oct. 2. A second was broken off a parked vehicle on the 500 block of Second Street between Oct. 1 and Oct. 2. And a third removed from a parked vehicle one block up—on the 600 block of Second Street on Oct. 2.

A Coronado Police spokeswoman said the vandalism reports are mostly likely related.

"These types of crimes are not too common in Coronado," she said via email.
