Identity Theft, Burglary Among Recent Crimes Reported in Coronado

1:28 a.m., 49-year-old woman arrested for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant at Hotel del Coronado in the 1500 block of Orange Avenue

4:02 a.m., petty theft reported near the 9th Street and Orange Avenue intersection. Bicycle reported stolen worth an estimated $100

10:24 p.m., petty theft reported at Von's in the 800 block of Orange Avenue. Unlocked bicycle reported stolen from parking lot worth an estimated $700

10:57 p.m., grand theft reported in the 1100 block of Adella Avenue. Giant SL1 bicycle reported stolen from bike rack worth an estimated $2,500

Aug. 7

2:33 a.m., 25-year-old man arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs in the 0 block of Ocean Court

3:22 p.m., petty theft reported in the 800 block of Orange Avenue. Versace sunglasses with Swarovski crystal accents worth an estimated $500. $300 in cash, case for sunglasses and checkbook also reported stolen. Assailant took items from the victim's purse at her place of employment

Aug. 6

1:07 a.m., 20-year-old man arrested on two counts of first degree burglary, receiving known stolen property, committing a felony while on bail in the 400 block of B Avenue. Actual offense took place in the 700 block of B Avenue

1:56 p.m., petty theft reported at Sunglass Hut in the 900 block of Orange Avenue. Ray-Ban sunglasses reported stolen from display case worth an estimated $155

4:07 p.m., 18-year-old woman arrested with felony warrant from outside agency in the 300 block of D Avenue. Actual offense took place in the 600 block of D Avenue

Aug. 5

2:27 a.m., domestic violence incident reported. No location provided. No reported injuries

5:20 a.m., 20-year-old man arrested for first degree burglary and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent in the 1100 block of Front Street in San Diego. Actual offense took place in the 300 block of H Avenue in Coronado 

Aug. 4 

12:22 a.m., 29-year-old man arrested with misdemeanor warrant from outside agency in the 1800 block of Avenida del Mundo

1:23 a.m., petty theft reported in the 1200 block of 1st Street. Bicycle reported stolen from bike rack at Coronado Ferry Landing worth an estimated $30

11:14 a.m., bicyclist injures self in 1400 block of Orange Avenue brought to UC San Diego Medical Center with deformity to chest and other injuries

12:01 p.m., petty theft reported at Coronado Marriott in the 2000 block of 2nd Street. Bicycles reported stolen from the hotel parking garage worth an estimated $500

7:47 p.m., 27-year-old man arrested with misdemeanor warrant at Village Pizzeria in the 1200 block of Orange Avenue

Aug. 3

5:30 a.m., 37-year-old man arrested for disorderly conduct while under the influence of alcohol in the 1500 block of 1st Street

6:39 a.m., identify theft reported. Victim claims his social security number and home address were used to create a Verizon Wireless account

11:27 p.m., 22-year-old woman arrested for disorderly conduct while under the influence of alcohol in the 900 block of A Avenue

Aug. 2

4:48 p.m., petty theft reported in the 800 block of I Avenue. Bicycle reported stolen worth an estimated $337

11:16 p.m., petty theft reported at Glorietta Bay Inn in the 1600 block of Glorietta Boulevard. Wallet, cash and other items reported stolen from unlocked vehicle worth an estimated $325

11:19 p.m., first degree burglary reported in the 400 block of 10th Street. Laptop computer and purse reported stolen worth an estimated $740

July 31

4:28 a.m., petty theft reported in the 900 block of Adella Avenue. Purse, wallet, car keys, cash, credit cards and other items reported stolen from vehicle in front of residence worth an estimated $471

July 30

6:54 a.m., two-car collision in the 1500 block of 3rd Street near Glorietta Boulevard. One driver transported to Balboa Naval Hospital with complaints of pain to her left ankle

2:57 p.m., petty theft reported in the 1800 block of Strand Way. Bicycle reported stolen from yard of residence worth an estimated $500

July 24

2:16 p.m., two-car collision reported at the State Route 75 and A Avenue intersection. No injuries reported

2:16 p.m., driver hits parked vehicle near the Blue Anchor Cay Road and Spinnaker Way. No injuries reported

4:13 p.m., City of Coronado Public Works truck knocks street sign off post while turning at the corner of Glorietta Boulevard and Escondido Lane

July 2

9:14 a.m., bicyclist hit by vehicle at the 3rd Street and B Avenue intersection. Driver traveling 25 mph. Bicyclist suffered possible broken left hand and laceration and brought to Sharp Coronado Hospital
