Firefighters responded to an emergency call at a residential building near Sharp Coronado Hospital late Saturday.
A dispatcher at Heartland Fire said a caller from a condo in the 1500 block of 2nd Street reported that smoke was coming from a heater. Firefighters on scene had things under control by 10 p.m. and units began leaving the scene shortly before 50 minutes later.
No one was displaced according to the dispatcher, and there were no estimates yet of how much damage the incident caused.
