Coronado Police and SDPD SWAT Arrest Serial Burglar

Law enforcement arrested 35-year-old Jasen Elliott Harris in San Diego on Thursday.

A San Diego man allegedly responsible for the recent burglary series in the east side of Coronado village was arrested Thursday morning. Coronado Police and San Diego Police Department's SWAT unit conducted a search warrant for Jasen Elliott Harris, 35, and arrested him for possession of stolen property.

The Coronado Police Department reported that a tip from a Coronado resident led police to Harris. The resident reportedly "noticed a man, who was not familiar to their neighborhood, exit a vehicle and enter another neighbor’s backyard."

"The resident felt the activity was suspicious and wrote down the license plate and later gave it to police," Coronado Police said.

Additional criminal charges are pending.
