Booze and Bacon Stolen From Coronado Retailer

An unknown male left Vons on Nov. 25 without paying for a basketful of grocery, including two bottles of alcohol, meats and snacks.

An unknown man recently stole $106.54 worth of liquor and grocery items from Vons on the 800 block of Orange Avenue in Coronado.

Police said the man filled his basket with a bottle of Popov vodka ($15.99), Disaronno ($25.99), Safeway bacon ($15.99), ribs ($21.37), beef franks ($5.99), two cans of Progresso New England clam chowder ($5.58), Sunchips ($3.29), salsa ($3.99) and hummus ($4.99), and left the store without paying.

The incident took place between 3:48 and 3:53 p.m., Nov. 25.
