Blotter: Fire Pit Stolen from Front Yard and Other Crimes

Coronado Police released the following reports on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) entered Nicky Rottens on the 100 block of Orange Avenue and stole a backpack with computer valued at $300 between 6 and 7:30 p.m., Jan. 15.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) left a ring valued at $500 in a bathroom of the Taco Bell on the 100 B Avenue between 5:40 and 9:40 p.m., Jan. 22.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle valued at $200 from Strand Elementary School on the 1300 block of Leyte Road between Jan. 10-12.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle valued at $100 from a rack behind Miguel's on the 1300 block of Orange Avenue.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole the front wheel of a bicycle from the 1300 block of 10th Street between 6 and 8 a.m., Jan. 22.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a portable fire pit valued at $150 from the front yard of a residence on the 600 block of 10th Street between 8:20 and 8:30 a.m., Jan. 22.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle valued at $360 from the 900 block of I Avenue between Jan. 21-22.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle valued at $875 from the 800 block of Montego Bay Court between 8:30 and 9 a.m., Jan. 22.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a GPS valued at $200 and a radio face plate valued at $100 from the 800 block of B Avenue between Jan. 19-22.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle valued $150 and helmet valued at $35 from the 400 block of I Avenue between Jan. 20-21.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bike valued at $200 and lock from the 1800 block of Strand Way between 6:26 and 7:30 pm., Jan. 21.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle valued at $750 and a lock from in front of Peohe's on the 1200 block of First Street between 7 and 8:30 p.m., Dec. 28.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) stole a cellphone valued at $700 from a table at Costa Azul on the 1000 block of Orange Avenue between 9 and 11 p.m., Jan. 17.
  • Petty Theft: An unknown suspect(s) entered a vehicle on the 1100 block of G Avenue and tampered with it on Jan. 19.
  • Burglary: An unknown suspect(s) stole prescription narcotics from a residence on the 700 block of Seventh Street between 9 and 11 p.m., Jan. 11.
  • Burglary: An unknown suspect(s) stole a bicycle valued at $3,000 from the 600 block of 10th Street between 12:30 and 3 p.m., Jan. 20.
  • Burglary: An unknown suspect(s) stole two laptops, a desktop computer and a pair of sunglasses with the total value of $3,400 from a residence on the 800 block of B Avenue.
  • Burglary: A suspect entered a residence on the 1100 block of G Avenue at 9 p.m., Jan. 19. He woke up the victim and after a verbal exchange fled the scene with a container with coins. The total cash loss was estimated at $29.74.
  • Burglary: An unknown suspect(s) stole a cash box containing $40 from a desk at Coronado High School on the 600 block of D Avenue between 5:40 and 9:40 p.m., Jan. 22.
  • Attempted Burglary: An unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into a residence on the 800 block of B Avenue between Jan. 19-20.
  • Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: An unknown suspect(s) sprayed black and white spray paint to ground on the 900 block of Alameda Boulevard on Jan. 20.
  • Malicious Mischief/Vandalism: An unknown suspect(s) used permanent marker on an SDG&E box, AT&T box and two EDCO garbage cans on the 900 block of Eighth Street on Jan. 23.
  • Theft of Credit Card: An unknown suspect(s) stole a credit card from the mail from a resident on the 1100 block of N. Golfview Road on Jan. 20.
  • Sexual Battery: An unknown suspect grabbed a suspect walking on the 900 block of Tenth Street and touched her buttocks at 6:40 p.m., Jan. 20.
  • Disorderly Conduct/Loitering: An unidentified suspect entered the garage of a residence on the 1200 block of Alameda Boulevard between 6 and 6:55 p.m., Jan. 19.
