Update: Bridge Reopens After Accident Stops Eastbound Traffic

All eastbound Coronado Bay Bridge traffic was stopped after an accident occurred midspan around 4:30 p.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A fuel spill occurred after a collision between a motorcycle and small SUV, according to the City of Coronado. 

Lanes reopened in both directions around 5:10 p.m.
